Goals for the Next Four Years:
- More funding for drama, music and arts programs
- All day Kindergarten when state money is available
- Program equity between the newer and older elementary schools and between the two middle schools
- Fiscal responsibility so we can minimize layoffs and still maintain educational quality
- Maintain the Future Connections Program so more 11 th and 12 th graders can concurrently attend MSJC
- Restore class size reduction in the lower grades when state money is available
- Maintain adequate staffing levels for classified personnel as our schools grow
- Competitive salaries and benefits for teachers and staff so that the district can recruit and retain the best quality teachers and staff
- Increase security in and around our schools
- Build two new elementary schools and a new middle school
- More official recognition of the academic achievements of our children
- More slots in the Head Start program if state money is available
